About the Work
Position A is a lithographic print created in 1966 by German artist Paul Wunderlich. The image depicts a nude woman with an elongated, tensile body posed atop a bright blue bench in an exaggerated fold. This surrealist representation of the female figure exemplifies Wunderlich's trademark aesthetic, which prominently features the female form across his extensive body of work.
