This mantelpiece features four of Paolozzi's famous plaster pieces, with each unique cog arranged in a staggered formation, mounted on a custom multi-object display. This original work represents Paolozzi's childlike fascination with mechanical systems as well as his apprehension about the rapid technological advancements of the post-war era.

Joel Shapiro (1941-2025)

In 2019, Joel Shapiro unveiled his commissioned monumental sculpture at Washington D.C.'s Kennedy Center. The work, titled 'Blue,' depicts a joyful, animated stick figure that teeters mid-kick at the edge of the property's plateau. Shapiro chose an 'electric-hued' blue color for the piece and, as was his genius, infused the seemingly simple figure with pulsating life, kinetic energy, and emotional depth. Full bio
